research in hospital attire

I am starting work in a hospital soon. I'll be working in an office primarily, at a desk/computer, not a lab bench. I was wondering what typical premed/student attire is in the hospitals. When I had my interview I wore dress pants and shirt, but I'm a shorts/t-shirt guy, will ride my bike, and its very hot here in the summer and I don't feel like wearing pants. Is there a general dress code within the hospital?

Basically it depends on the dress etiquette's mentioned by your hospital.Professionally, formal wear will look good. But i prefer going on with what i am comfortable with.

Yeah as already said, professional dressing sence will be better at work place. Formal dress gives a kind of prosessional look...so got for it.
