Do you think still pentathal sodium is being used for dog anesthesia? Or what else we can use it to sedate the dogs...

Sodium pentathol—commonly known as "truth serum", is an ultra-short-acting barbiturate that depresses the central nervous system, slows heart rate, and lowers blood pressure. Since it is redistributed to fat, certain breeds of dogs, it can have prolonged recoveries from thiopental due to their lack of body fat and lean body mass. Oral sedation drugs like Acepromazine, Diazepam, Alprazolam, etc can be used
