High fever and chills
Hi Doctor, My father is facing a severe chil and high fever from past 15 days. BACKGROUND: IN May he went thru Angioblast operation for his heart and after 5 days, he developed high fever and chils. Doctor tested and said it is UTI(Urinary Track infection) and they treated him for about 12 days with antibiotics and then the fever came down and was fine.. Later in Nov he developed high fever and chils again, he was once again admitted to hospital and suffered fever for about 12 to 15 days. The doctor once again predicted for UTI but where the reports said mild UTI and gave lot of antibiotics.. and later he recovered from fever in about 15 days. Later by end of december, he caught high fever and chils again , and doctor once again thought it is UTI and gave a heavly dose of antibiotics. But the latest test shows he has very very mild UTi and for sure the high fever cant be for this mild UTI. Since last 2 times i think it is wronly diagionized as UTI, the last 2 time the UTI always showed a minimal changes but the doctors kept on giving high dosages of antibiotics. His symptoms are :1) High Fever 104 and Chills. Fever comes randomly, i dont think there is any pattern like in mornings or evenings.. First he gets chills and then followed by severe fever.. 2) He dont feel like rushing to urinate3) He dont feel pain while urinating4) He dont find blood in urineAnd one more thing, he dont have malaria nor neumonia.. He is still in hospital as of today. Doctors are doing all kind of tests on him. Can anyone help me on this. If any one need any information on reports and scannings, I can provide to you. If any one find his symptoms related to any of the other diseases you can suggest me. But please do reply with any suggestions or opinion.I am in desperate need of help. i would appreciate your comments!!Thanks in AdvanceKavitha GowdaMail ID : Kavithajpgowda@gmail.com and kavithajpgowda@yahoo.com
